Why do we need your confirmation to delete your account?
To comply with the different Data Protection regulations, we require explicit confirmation from the account owner before deleting their data. This ensures that we have the necessary authorization to process their personal information.
How can I provide confirmation for my EGYM account deletion?
You can provide confirmation by sending an email to our support team. Please make sure of the following:
- You contact us us from the same email address of the account you would like to delete
- You provide a clear statement confirming that you authorize EGYM to delete the account
Can my gym request the deletion of my account on my behalf?
Yes, your gym can request the deletion of your account on your behalf. However, they will need to provide written confirmation from you authorizing them to do so. Otherwise you will have to reach out to us directly in order to proceed.
What happens when an account is deleted?
Once an account is deleted, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems. Please note that deleted accounts cannot be restored.
